CSSP SC Councilor Bob Villarin resigns due to health reasons

The College of Social Sciences and Philosophy Student Council (CSSP SC) Councilor Bob Villarin formally resignedas CSSPSC Councilor and Finance and Special Projects Committee Co-Head. His resignation took effect promptly.

The letter was received by CSSP SC Secretary-General Vayne del Rosario.

“I ran for this position, to be of service of the CSSP, UP, and Philippine Community as well as para sa bayan. However, I have noticed that the immensely taxing work as a CSSP SC Councilor has affected my mental health,” Villarin stated.

Villarin noted that he will be assisting the Council before officially leaving, particularly the Finance and Special Project Committee, for a smooth transition.

The CSSP SC announced that Councilor Kim Pañares will be taking over Villarin’s responsibilities and will coordinate the transition.

Former Councilor Villarin hopes that the CSSP Student Council and the student body will understand his resignation.
