MESSAGE OF THE CHANCELLOR TO THE UPD COMMUNITY (Blackout Version)
By TJ Laranang
Dear members of the UPD community:
No reason to feel
Anxieties, fears, and griefs
We cannot simply exit
UP is isolated from other universities
This is our mandate:
Taking away opportunities
We took steps to ensure
More were affected
We have pushed workers
So that our operations don’t cease
For the faculty and students:
We cannot, as we usually do
Beyond our control: delayed students,
And our overworked staff
Compromising is very hard
We should stop trying
Business-as-usual in the university
These policies are great burdens

I’d personally also like to state that most individuals that find themselves with no health insurance can be students, self-employed and those that are out of work. More than half of the uninsured are under the age of Thirty-five. They do not experience they are needing health insurance as they are young along with healthy. Their income is generally spent on property, food, plus entertainment. Many people that do represent the working class either full or not professional are not made available insurance by way of their work so they go without due to the rising cost of health insurance in america. Thanks for the concepts you reveal through this site.
