Among the council members who filed the LOA are CSSP SC chairperson  Neo Aison, secretary-general Vayne Altapascine del Rosario, councilor Julian Matthew Formadero, and Sociology department representative Veronica Consolacion.

Council members state their reason for filing LOA amid the upcoming elections as means to avoid any conflict of interest.

Incumbent vice-chairperson Robin Traballo will temporarily take over Aison’s role; whereas Linguistics department representative Janina Navarra will assume the position of the Secretary-General. Councilor Formadero’s responsibilities were passed onto History department representative Bianca Roque. Consolacion’s role as Assistant Secretary Head and Sociology Department Representative were taken over by Navarra and Sociosphere Publicity committee head Leia Wijethunge, respectively.

Aison is currently running for the position of councilor in the UPD University Student Council (USC) under STAND UP, while Del Rosario is for the CSSP SC chairperson under SALiGAN sa CSSP, opposed to incumbent councilor Kim Panares under BUKLOD CSSP. Formadero is running as CSSP representative to the USC, and Consolacion will be running as the college council’s vice chairperson, both under SALiGAN.
