The program was hosted by outgoing CSSP FSTC Chairperson James Balbuena and outgoing CSSP Rep to the UFC Val Alvarez. Shortly after the opening remarks by CSSP Student Council Chairperson Neo Aison, the program began with each candidates’ presentation.

The Department Representatives were the first to present their programs, each department with only one candidate, except for Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. Below is the list of Department Representative candidates:

The Open Forum followed shortly with questions from concerned FSTs, as well as questions from the CSSP FST Electoral Board. The candidates were given  only 1 minute to answer.

Each candidate was asked at least one question regarding their personal capabilities, plans of actions for the student body, issues of concern, and their proposed programs.

Concerned FSTs asked questions regarding the candidates’ concrete plans of action on  red-tagging of members of the CSSP community, capability to ensure inclusivity for all FSTs amid membership in the department’s home organizations, and steps towards their proposed programs (e.g. addressing the concern on safe space, lack of manpower).

Questions on the candidates’ fulfillment of duties were also asked.

Outgoing CSSP FSTC Chairperson James Balbuena closed the program with a short message of gratitude to the councils and the student body and a brief overview on the advocacies and projects of the incumbent CSSP FST Council for the past year.
