The incumbent CSSP FST Council has been at the forefront of conducting projects and programs to uphold the interest of both the student body and the community, at large.
One of the remarkable events spearheaded by the council was “Paraluman: Inang Bayan, Musa ng Sining Magpakailanman,” an art exhibit in partnership with Save Our Schools (SOS) Network showcasing pieces from the CSSP FST and Lumad Bakwit students. Funds earned from the said event was donated to support Lumad communities.
The council also holds KAusaPP, a CSSP FSTs assembly, to address the grievances, concerns, and struggles experienced by the students in the remote learning set-up, and to encourage healthy dialogue between the council and FSTs.
Meanwhile, as the college prepares itself for yet another FSTC election, the position of the Anthropology Department Representative in the CSSP Student Council (SC) remains unfilled. Measures are yet to be taken by the CSSP administration to ensure genuine and ample representation of the Anthropology majors.
In the recently held KAPPulungan+, CSSP Office of Student Affairs (OSA) Coordinator Jay-Ar Igno stated special elections for the said matter are foreseen to be conducted by the first week of October.
