LFS, other groups reject US DND Sec’s PH visit

The League of Filipino Students – UP Diliman and other formations protested against the US Department of National Defense (DND) Sec. Lloyd Austin’s visit to the country, outside Camp Aguinaldo today, February 2.

The US Defense chief arrived in the Philippines last Tuesday, January 31.

Student Regent Siegfred Severino also calls on all UP student councils to intensify the call against the growing threat of US militarization in the Philippines, in the ongoing 54th General Assembly of Student Council (GASC) today in UP Cebu.
