\u201cAng pinapagawa nila sa ‘min is kahit sobrang substandard na face shield, kahit puro yupi na po siya, kung may madumi, pinapa-repack pa rin po sa ‘min ‘yun,” isiniwalat sa Senado ng isang dating manggagagawa sa bodega ng Pharmally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binulgar din ng nasabing empleyado na pinalitan ang production date sticker ng mga faceshield, ang 2020 ay pinalitan ng 2021. Sa gayong paraang, iniiba rin ang shelf life o expiration date nito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inamin naman ito ng isang opisyal ng Pharmally na siya ang nag-utos nito, ngunit siya rin daw ay napag-utusan lamang ng mas nakatataas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dagdag pa rito,  mayroon pa ring expiration date ang di-nabubulok na PPE, tulad ng disposable na face shield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hindi nirerekomenda ng  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ng Estados Unidos ang paggamit ng PPE nang lagpas  sa kanilang shelf life.<\/a> Ito ay dahil unti-unting bumababa ang grado ng mga PPE habang ito ay tumatagal; medical grade dapat ang binenta ng Pharmally sa administrasyon dahil ang mga PPE na ito ay gagamitin ng mga frontliners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maaalala ring ang Pharmally ay isa lamang maliit na kumpanyang pagmamay-ari ng mga Singaporean nationals. Si Pharmally International Holding Company Chairman Huang Wen Lie o Tony Huang ay namataang kasama sa isang pagpupulong sina Duterte at dati niyang economic advisor, bagaman isang Chinese national, na si Michael Yang sa Davao noong Marso 2017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si Huang ay napabalitang hinahabol ng gobyerno ng Taiwan dahil umano sa pandaraya, pandarambong, at pagmamanipula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bagaman P625,000 lamang ang kapital ng Pharmally, nakapagtatakang nakahakot sila ng mga PPE mula Tsina at binenta sa pamahalaan sa halagang P8.7B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isiniwalat ng Pharmally na si  Yang ang financer at taga-garantiya sa mga supplier mula Tsina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pinabulaan naman ito ni Yang sa House Hearing noong Setyembre 20, Lunes, at sinabing sa kanyang \u201cmga kaibigan\u201d nagmula ang perang ginamit ng Pharmally. Hindi na tinanong at hindi pa inilalantad ang nasabing \u201cmga kaibigan\u201d ni Yang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samantala, hangang ngayon ay hindi pa rin natatanggap ng mga health workers ang mga benepisyong pinangako sa kanila. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bagaman tumaas mula P134.9B hanggang P157.5B ang pinanukalang  2022 budget plan ng administrasyong Duterte, hindi pa rin naglaan ng sapat na pondo para sa special risk allowance (SRA), hazard pay, at meals, accommodations, and transportation (MAT) ng mga healthcare workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habang isinisiwalat ang mga pangyayari, patuloy pa rin ang pagtaas ng mga kaso ng Covid-19. Mayroong 18,659 na bagong kaso sa bansa noong Setyembre 24, Biyernes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
